“Every Day Deserves a Chance”

Teacher: Pastor Cary Wadle

Doesn’t every day deserve a chance…an opportunity to be a good day? The psalmist wrote “This is the day the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it” But we all know that into every day shadows can come too. There are days when traffic snarls, deadlines loom, friends forget, and spouses complain. Divorce days, final exam days, surgery days, tax days, and days when the cemetery dirt is still fresh. What about those days? Isn’t it better to just get them over with and move on? Suppose though, neck deep in a tough day, you resolve to give it a chance. You chose not to complain, work, or worry it away. You decide to give the day a chance. Imagine
the difference if we could. Timeless principles from God’s Word help us to know His divine power, mercy, forgiveness, purpose, and peace so that you can give every day the chance that it truly deserves. You trust more. Stress less. Amplify gratitude. Mute complaints. You do the same the next day, and the next. Days become a week. Weeks become months. In such a fashion good lives are built. One day at a time.

“Everybody's Normal Until You Get to Know Them”

Teacher: Greg Sedlacko

Normal? Who’s normal? Folks around us may seem normal enough, but just wait till we get to know them…and they get to know us. None of us are normal according to God’s definition, and the closer we get to each other, the plainer it becomes. Yet for all our quirks, sins, and jagged edges, we need each other. Community is more than just a word…it is one of our most fundamental requirements and is woven into the very fabric of our being. Nothing else can substitute for the life-giving benefits of connecting with others. We need each other, but how do we get close without getting hurt? How do we develop strong, satisfying relationships? Come and get a thought-provoking look at God’s heart, at others, and at yourself. You’ll gain wisdom and tools for drawing closer to others in powerful, impacting ways. Community is where all of us not-so-normal people can encounter God’s love in tangible ways and discover the transforming power of being loved, accepted, and valued just the way we are.

“Evidence”

Teacher: Pastor Isaac Huddleston

As part of our personal faith journey, we often encounter nagging doubts and questions concerning the truth of
Christianity. Know that these doubts are not signs of a faithless life, but proof that our faith is growing. This class is going to dive into the evidences for the truth of the Christian faith with a very practical approach to understanding the foundations of our faith, such as the existence of God, Jesus as the Son of God, and the Resurrection. Whether you are seeker, a new believer, or searching for greater understanding, this will be a great class to explore what we truly believe as Christians.
